            Hey when I was 11, I go places by myself, I even walked 5 miles to a mall! When you're 11, you're old enough to do somethings by yourself. Do you think that your parents need to go with you to a friends house? That's where she was!

            I myself don't think it was bad parenting. It is really sad though that they found her dead!

                Because it's the armpit of the USA..I hated florida!!!! I could pick up the local paper and in a section you would find the names of all the sex offenders and where they resided at.. for our little county there were over 40 people listed and I would say 30 of them were really sex offenders and not just older boys fucking a 16 year old..

                makes me ill to think of this happening to any of my kids.. I would have to kill the fucker..not send him to prison for someone else to.

                                                    with that said.....

                                                    I have to question the parents. Anyone who lives in The Greater Tampa Bay area that would let their 11year old daughter run around alone needs a parenting class.

                                                    Alot of parents in my state just plain suck. The only one's I feel for are the children. I am sick and fucking tired of turning on the news and hearing about a child dying or being killed by........................

                                                    Serial Felons
                                                    Unattened swimming pools
                                                    Dogs
                                                    Alligators
                                                    and any other low rent ,slack assed, I am too busy to watch my child kind of way.

                                                    Any one who lives here knows it is true. it is just sick. This one hapened to get some press, but children die in very neglegent ways in our state. And the knee jerk reaction is to feel sympathy for the parent who was busy with bullshit while little tommy was being killed, mauled, drownd, or attacked by gators.

                                                        What a fucking tragedy, Im usually not for the death penalty but in this case whoever is responsible should be held accountable.

                                                        I read alot of posts questioning the parents in this case...common, you cant watch your kids 100% of the time! she walked that route daily!

                                                        I for one feel for the parents, this is the worst possible thing that can happen to any family.
