    Domain Appraisal ?

    Anybody ever get a domain appraisal from www.sedo.us ? I got one for heck of it. The domain was sexygf.com. they came back with saying it was worth $8800 USD. Needless to say I liked that number Anyone think I could eventually get that if I waited long enough ? Anyone interested ?

                              Neither of those are awful names, but by sheer virtue of their inflated appraisals, I've taken the liberty of adding them to my exclusive domain listings at http://www.shitty.name.

                                              I have had domain appraised for a hell of a lot more than that. It is all about what you can sell them for as i have tried to sell domains only for a fraction of their appraised value. I hold some rippers but finding a true buyer is a task.

                                                      I think if you had good exposure on GFY for a couple weeks, you *might* get an offer for $50. I'd say that's a realistic top end. You never know, someone might pay a lot more, but I doubt it. At $20, I think you'd attract more than one buyer. (All this is assuming it's undeveloped, no backlinks in google, no yahoo listings, etc.)

                                                                                              Paid appraisals are nothing than a scam. Had http://www.expo.org appraised ... they said it was worth ten thousands $$$ but was never offered more than a few hundreds.
