It would be also in many adult magazines and porn video makers interest to get porn banned on the net as there sales would increase like mad.

It may not be done direct, but indirect by getting credit card firms not to be involved with porn banned

Nothing can be banned everywhere in the world. Even if the credit card processors dropped out tomorrow, there would be new companies sprouting up overnight to handle payment.

Look at the gambling industry...you can't use credit cards on those sites but you can deposit your money somewhere offshore like in an epassporte account and then use it to gamble with.

Do you think the online gambling industry is feeling the pain of no credit card processing? Yah right.

Not that hard. If you made it an offence for credit card firms to take adult payments, that would create huge problems.

You could also make it harder for people to get into porn, i.e., you may make it so that you must have a licence to be a adult model or even have an adult webmaster. There are lots of ways to make it almost impossible to be involved with porn, without banning it outright.

How hard would it be to make you buy a licence for $50,000 per adult site for instance? That would shut down many sites.
