                  Be smart and go into the attic or crawl space and locate it while it is still leaking. Will save you tons of work latter.

                                                      Its not always a leak. I have a brand new roof on my house done just 2 months ago by top notch guys but the ice and snow build up on the roof was forcing water under the eaves and in between the plywood beneath the roof. When you went down any street in my area this past week everyone was up on there roofs clearing it. Its been bad.

                                                      Get someone up there to clean your entire roof. Chip ice away from the eaves, around the chimney, vents etc. It took me 4 hours to clear mine the other day it was a bitch. Now all the spots are dry. Some kilns and paint and things will be good as new.
