When I was younger, I used to be an idiot and drive pretty fast on the highway in traffic, and I can vouch for what everyone else says - IT ONLY TAKES ONE PERSON TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.
I was in perfect control the whole time, but it doesn't matter - on MANY occasions, when I would come up fast behind someone I would witness them just completely flip out and do crazy shit like change lanes right in front of me. The only person you can be sure of on the road is yourself, and I've learned NEVER to trust other drivers.
To reiterate, the general population is stupid and WILL FREAK OUIT AND DO STUPID SHIT. I'll admit this maneuver is cool and I love drifting...it was also idiotic, from a safety standpoint.Comment
