Best Movie Fight Scene?

Okay, another argument just started over here in Hollywood about the best fight scene in a movie or tv show.

I still say it was in 'Shane'. Two actually. But after that overall just watch episodes of the old black and white serial "Spy Smasher". Dudes in that REALLY get punched and have large pieces of real furniture bashed on them.

Drunken Master 2, the fight at the end between Jackie Chan and the bad dude with the glasses... that fight is just legendary.

Apparently said bad dude is Jackie Chan's body guard in real life.

the only problem with this pick is I think the third punch sonny lays on the brother in law CLEARLY MISSES yet they added the "Ugh" sound effect and KEPT IT IN THE FILM!

it mars an otherwise classic film, one of the best of all time I think.....i love the tone of the scene and the acting, but that punch clearly misses......therefore it can't be up there......not even close

Liam Neeson (sic) sword fight at the end of Rob Roy where he cuts the little fag in half.

A little cheesy, but the Yoda lightsaber battle was pretty cool in the last Star Wars movie.

The finale in the Wild Bunch with the gatling gun still rocks.

Kiss of the Dragon--Jet Li against the French Police Karate class

Saving Private Ryan- maybe not a fight scene but the kick ass opening beach fighting scene

Return of the Dragon--Bruce Lee vs a young Chuck Norris

The Matrix- Lots of sequences floored me, although as time goes by this movie is losing its wow factor compared to the real deal like Bruce Lee

i always thought that knife fight between segal and jones in under siege was well done. not the best but good none the less.

another good one was in "they live' that fistfight between piper and keith david was NOT staged, they actually kicked the shit out of each other. carpenter wanted real and they gave it to him.

THE BEST one I've ever seen is the end of the good the bad and the ugly. imho

I loved the shoot out scene in the entry of the building in the first movie, and the fight scene with Neo against the gang in the second.

Jet Li does some amazing things.
Jackie Chan is killer to watch.

Honorable mention has to go to a guy I hear is an asshole, but fun to watch - Steven Segal. I remember one fight scene where he takes on a gang in a bar (?) with a pool ball inside a rag. Lots of 'oohh! Ouch!' moments.

Jet Li in Fist of Legend and Once Upon a Time in China 1... they're both awesome flicks, can't pick a specific scene.

Liked Jackie in Drunken Master 2 in the end fight too... "Ahaa! Industrial strength alcohol!" Jackie's newer movies suck ass... too much gay ladder/bucket/prop fighting.
