    Pharmacy Denies RAPE Victim Morning After Pill

    "Apparently there was a request for a prescription to be filled and the prescription was denied based on a moral or ethical decision made by the pharmacist, and that's not in accordance with our corporate policy," said Joan Gallagher, vice president of communications for Largo, Florida-based Eckerd Corp.

          the pharmacist is there to do a job, provide a service. if they can not for some friggin moral reason, then they should look for another job.

              OR start their own pharmacy where they don't carry it. They have the choice not to work for a company that sell it.

                  I can't believe that a Pharmasist would deny a prescription that has to be put in by a doctor. How in the world does he think he has that right. He had to know the pharmacy did fill that type of drug request.

                  I get too mad to even talk about this stuff.. people pushing their own beliefs onto the rest of the world...

                          I know pharmacies are quite often made to make a judgement call. My mother has been working in that field forever, since as long as i can remember. I hear some very odd stories from time to time. However in this case, there was nothing to decide on. It is her body, her life, and she had a prescription form a doctor.

                          Not very man y pharmacists would dare go against a doctors wishes.

                          im hoping that particular pharmacist is banned from the business. You'd think the years and years studying science would have gotten rid of the BS people carry with them.
