I use them for a linklist I have.
There's a list of sponsors that have hosted free sites in the table on my main page here:
http://sponsorhostedgalleries.com
I don't have enough traffic going to them to say whether they are successul or not.
But I don't see why linklist owners wouldn't use them. It's a lot quicker than making warning pages and a main page that point to hosted galleries.
Trouble is there is not many linklist owners out there anymore I guess. Everybody is doing TGP.Comment

use them for linklist. Wish sponsors would have more of those. Surfers need to click on a couple of link and see more large banners before going straight to the gallery. So far, it's not converting for me, but I don't have much traffic going into it.I sale cheap sigwhoreComment

I use them all but Click Me Media is converting ver well check out my sites for info.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment

Not really. Alot of sponsors don't have a clue on how to make a free site. They just stick a generic warning page, a generic main page with links to their galleries. It's as if the feeder was design by a gallery desgner.Originally posted by Choker

Plus they don't even bother to use an unique title for each free site. So you endup with 5-10 free sites with the exact same paysite name as the freesite title (they could at least use a different title for each feeder) on the warning page with only the galleries that differ.
Please sponsors that have feeders, hire a freesite designer to do the job, not a gallery guy. It only cost $25-$50 to make a feeder, don't be cheap.Comment
