I saw flashing lights, didn't quite see what was on the side of the van but probably a gas truck. He went by too fast. Stopped at the corner, sat there for a minute then peeled out. It stinks bad outside, strong fumes.Comment

About a year ago, I was sitting in my office inside my home in east texas. The there was a loud boom and the house shook. I went outside and looked around but didnt see anything.
Then about 20 minutes later a news report broke in, the space shuttle had disentegrated right over east texas.
The noise I heard was the sonic boom from parts of it entering the atmosphere, pretty eery feeling.Comment

Finally! 5am news came on. A house exploded about 1/4 of a mile from here. They aren't sure yet what happened but think it was gas. Had the gas company come over and shut everything off in that area. Sucks to be them, they will all be freezing their asses off over there. Guess there is a nursing home across the street, they moved everyone to the back of the building. The house was leveled but still on fire almost 3 hours later. Geesh! I really hate gas heat, scares the crap outta me!Comment

Guess it was so strong it blew out a bunch of peoples windows within a block. Their windows actually blew out and not in, interesting. The fire was still going 3 hours later, don't know when they got it put out, I went to sleep. They were digging in the ground to try an shut off the gas since the meter was blown off the house heh. Had a hard time sleeping because there was a helicopter hovering my house.Comment
