I still think it's faked for some sort of 'scare the shit out of the kids that were caught drunk driving' or maybe a ' training for paramedics' or something.

I've seen a million forensic pics, and in car crashes the ground is always more fucked up. It looks like they just placed all this stuff there after they tore it up in a wrecking yard.

look at the closeup of the door wrapped around the tree, the grass is growing straight up right where the most damge to the ground should have been.

                And in this pic...

If the angle of impact was from right traveling to the left, then why isn't the ground all scratched and gouged? It's like it hit the tree and 15 feet away they put the car down, not like it slid there and stopped.

                I think it's fake.

The only thing I could see that would explain the lack of tire tracks would be the height of the bark missing on the tree. I saw an accident about 7 or 8 years ago where this woman was hauling ass, probably 100-120 mph and she his a bump in a turn. The car went airborne, sideways for about 25-30 yards before slamming a light pole sideways. Needless to say, the results were very close. We were first on the scene before the cops or anything and it was quite fucked up. The point to all this was that there were no skid marks at all. There was one small set where the car actually left the pavement but other than that nothing. Girl was good looking before the wreck too. When a car hits sideways like that though, the body forms a "V" at the door structure. The natural movement of the body, without seatbelt, aims your head straight at that newly formed metal "V". Things were not pretty for sure.

The worst part wasn't the blood or the torn skin or the broken limbs and trapped legs...it was the scream. I will remember the way that woman sounded for the rest of my life. It was a very surreal scene...

I know a retired state trooper here in KY who used to be chief accident investigator for his post. He had a scrapbook of photos he kept for personal reasons (sicko I guess) and to take around to high schools during driver ed classes. Talk about some gruesome shit. I think Rick and CJ would love scanned copies of the stuff in that book. lol

They used to bring that book around our drivers ed classes too. They were quite graphic indeed. I was sort of prepared for it though as my dad is an ex-cop, and part of his job was going to accident scenes and taking photos of the carnage. Stuff like motorcycle plus rider minus helmet versus tractor trailer. Unreal stuff man. His were all black and white though so atleast the blood wasn't as graphic.
