    installing an additional HD in a dedicated box, how long should it take

    depends if its a ide 1 min if its a raid system bit longer .... i guess youre ded server has been offline for 5 hrs now because shithosting.com said theyre gonna add a HD ?

              sorry, don't know why that made so many posts.

              i figured you could install a hard drive in a dedicated box pretty fast, just wanted to check. a host quoted 4 hours at 150/hr.

              that caught me by surprise.

                              shouldnt take any more then 30-60 minutes (60 if the tech is mildly retarded) and 150/hr for installation?? hope theyre at least lubing you properly first
