Great Britain has 60 million people. If it were five times bigger it would be a superpower of similar size to the USA.
Australia has 20 million people. If it were 15 times bigger it would be a superpower of smiliar size to the USA.
The same can be said of France, Germany, Canada and many other nations.
You have the military you do because you have the tax base to support it. That's all.
So get over yourself.
