Chinese takeout is getting worse and worse!!!

I just ordered some Chinese food and it tastes like shit!!!

Fuck you and your fucking chicken, General Tsao!!!

How in the fuck do they superheat their Egg Drop soup? I never thought it was possible to have something that hot without it boiling!

You just have to find a place that is good and stick with it. I've been ordering from the same place for over 14 years now. Their hot & sour soup has big pieces of shrimp in it, the won ton soup is six big wonton noodles stuffed HUGE with ground pork, their chicken balls have huge chunks of chicken in them, and their eggrolls are huge man, I could eat 3 of those before touching anything else. They're a bit expensive but worth it.

And I'm due for a big order from them soon. Maybe thursday for survivor night :D

That's the only one in this area that will deliver (homey can only go so far on his tattered old bike).

There is one Chinese restuarant that doesn't have a buffet, which is an indication that it's a decent joint but they don't deliver.

I think I'm going back on my 3 steaks a day diet - my colon will thank me later.

I wouldn't advise eating poultry right now if you can avoid it. They've destroyed approaching 100 million birds of all types in Asian countries over the past few months because of a new flu variant that is lethal and can be transmitted to humans from the birds and then human to human.

I'm sure some sleazy operators that were being forced to destroy their birds managed to export some out and into Europe and who knows where else it got to from there.

Chinese restaurants are notorious for using the lowest grades meats around.

Kosher Chinese food is far from Americanized Chinese food. The authentic stuff is the best.

Also, there has not been a scientific link between getting the virus from an infected bird.

I don't know about that, but so far there has only been 4 (I think) death-related cases. I think I'm pretty safe eating Chinese take-out.

you should know that Chinese around here blows... there are lots of good Thai places around that makes up for it. The chicken they use at the Chinese joints is like monkey lips, swear to christ. The Thai places usually use better ingredients it seems.

we got the killer asian foods here in cali.

i can go to all asian neighborhoods where its totally asian owned blocks of the city and get the best chinese food, orange chicken to die for, all made with california grown oranges..

mmmm

had some a couple days ago, its not cheap but its the best.

Maybe where you are. At mine they include a lot of lightly-cooked veggies in their stirfries, the rice is steamed and very moist, the meats are all lean, and even the deep-fried dishes seem to be very grease-free and tasty.
