You only feel that way because you live in a quiet Scandinavian town with mellow Nordic people. If you lived in Compton, CA or certain parts of Detroit, perhaps your opinion would change. When you're surrounded by savages who cannot be reasoned with, arming yourself is often the only way you can protect yourself and your family.
