Usually dialers are a good solution for payment, but they are just used to make a fast some bucks and lose the trust of the surfer.

So it sucks

Even though I think this was a pretty lame attempt to spam your site I will still comment.

I think dialers can be a great source of income if used the right ways. We have a good amount of clients that use dialers and make good money. The key is to have quality content, attractive dialers, and loads of Geo IP traffic.

while on the subject of diallers any one use Goodthinxx ?
we are looking at using them on some of our sites.

Autodialers that have average 0.10 minutes per user sucks but real dialers with great content that have averge 25 minutes per user is great!

Dialers can be a very good may for making money but if U play by the rules, which means :

- Don't use autodialers, they suck,
- Never put, "click here for FREE stuff",
- Have a great and updated member area (then u'd have good Holding Times),
- Have that member area and promo tools (sites, banners...) translated into dfferent languages,
- Work with a sponsor that's not located in some exotic places (like Uruguay, Islands...),
- Be sure that that sponsor pays in time and is reliable (like meeting ppl working for it during shows like the Internext),
- Work with a dialer sponsor that has domestic lines mainly (rate is better)...

Well, that's how we work and our webmasters are quite happy...

I've never used a dialer but if I ever did I would make sure the page clearly stated that clicking the link would bill their phone.

Dialers are good but seems like alot shave webmaster earnings and its really hard to know weather or not you are being paid for all the traffic you send...are there even autodialers anymore?? I dont know of any

We provide live stats for our webmasters so they can check we don't try to shave them.

There are still autodialers but u won't make money on a long term basis with them

I am thinking, dialers can be a good alternative to the cc payment option. But only, if you play it fair with your customers.
If I already get a pop-up hell of install windows and auto-dialer offers and so on only by visiting the start page of a website, then I really don't need anything more from that site. close and forget.

As said, if the site and the dialer let the visitor exactly know, what they have to expect (pricing info, uninstall of the software, NO autodial, no extremly high prices per minute or high first-minute-rates, ...) it could be a nice thing for both sides - users and webmaster.

Dialers are great for when users cant use CC. Some people are happy to stay online for a good long time while the wbemasters sits and cashes in. I guess the trust just has to be there. If surfers are afraid of getting over charged they wont stay.

I've sent traffic to dialers before and did alright but its not as good as free sites.

The best use of a dialer is made by redirecting UK and other traffic that dialers pay the most per min with. AND by using a popunder stating that if they don't have a credit card they can pay with a dialer and still get access.
