in some countries it was called (mostly Europe) Léon, posters hangs above my bed
other countries like the US, they called it The Professional, basically no diffence
the longer cut is called 'Leon: version integrale' or version internationale or Leon - The Professional (Uncut International Version), it was released in France, funny thing is you can only get it in region 1
I've got both version and my opinion: get both
