    Gmail is too creepy!

                                      Too late Microsoft/Hotmail already one up'ed GMAIL. My Hotmail account has 2 gigs of storage. Must be a conspiracy

                                          And secondly.. WTF is the big deal. There are 5 million email providers out there. Don't use GMAIL if it triggers your conspiracy theory button that anyone give a rats ass what you email. I think people have a real ego about what the goverment/fbi/whatever care to look at.

                                                  All providers keep a copy of the emails. Yahoo, hotmail, etc. So Gmail doing it is no big issue. And if you can't delete messages easily, only archive, they are doing that so you can find your mail at a later date and for the reply thread thing. If you have a total of 40,000 emails I'm sure the storage would reach about 600megs most likely.

                                                  As for the 180 days thing, I don't think that's accurate.

                                                          Gotta wonder why some people carry on with life. If they're that worried about something silly like gmail how shit scared must they be by genuine concerns? Were I them I'd have topped myself by now.
