    what niches do you think recur the longest?

    What niches have you found get you the best retention of members and as affiliates the best recurring?

    I always thought the more wild the content the longer the retention.

                                      do your own research...I'm not being bitchy but the one that is going to recur best for you is the one you have researched so well that you know exactly what those surfers want. Then you will know how to pitch it to the type that will stay joined and not just the casual surfer. Some of us spend hours every day reading up on various niches/fetishes. Asking people to give away our hard work is a bit unfair, no?

                                              I understand what you are saying but so much of it is in how you promote something. One person could have a teen site that retains very well and another than doesn't.

                                              Just as others, I have no problem shairing information (you scratch my back, you scratch mine) but how many people do you think really reveal what their main seller is unless they run a paysite and then of course they have the best niche

                                              So much of it is knowing your aduience and pitching it to their level. For example, I do well with foot and leg fetish related sites and for me they retain really well. However, if I just threw traffic at any old foot fetish site without researching what my surfers want then I mine as well throw the traffic anywhere and cross my fingers. The ability to keep those foot fetish surfers comes in doing the research and giving them what they want. It isn't the fault of the niche if I don't convert.

                                                          First of all Sarah I appreciate what you shared here about researching a niche and giving the surfers what they like. That is very true I've found.

                                                          You see Sarah I believe there are two types of people in this industry. Those that think that there is a limited amount of prosperity and therefore they must not only guard what they have but some even go so far as to try to take from others.
                                                          The second type of webmaster knows that there is a world of abundance available to those who work together. That to share something of value is the highest form of prosperity. And that what you give comes back to you 10 fold whether it's positive or negative.

                                                          Now I admit that it is not very likely to find that second type of webmaster on a board entitled "Go Fuck Yourself". But
                                                          when we discuss things we are not "Giving Away" hard earned secrets. We are sharing and trading ideas and thoughts and building relationships. Relationships are what this and any business is built on.

                                                                              i've got an advantage since i got movie sites, it takes surfers to download all of the content, so they stay a member longer.
