    Best Practical Joke or Just Plain Wrong?

    A friend of mine from College and me have been playing practical jokes on each other for years. He recently came over to my apartment while I was at work and took everything apart (everything that had hinges was removed) and he put regular dish soap into my dishwasher - the WHOLE FUCKING BOTTLE!!!

    Here's joke I'm about to retaliate with but I think it may be taking it too far. Right next to my house there's one of those "This Sexual Predator Lives in Your Neighborhood" signs posted at 7-11. I was going to take it and replace the information with his name and picture and make the charge something outlandish like beastiality or something fucked up.

    The moral issue I'm dealing with here is that it may fuck up his life and cross the line of being a practical joke. I was going to print up 20 of them and posted them at all the gas station in his area.

    Good idea? Bad idea?

          He made you do manual labor to fix stuff around your house AND put regular soap in your dishwasher. Sounds to me like the gloves are off already. Get him back!

                      I would go for it, just make sure you dont do anything illegal.

                      Make the charges something strange enough that most people will realise its fake after reading it closely. But real enough that old people will think its real..

                          Do it, but make sure you mention beastiality in big letters. Don't make him look like a child molester, he'll end up getting shot. Besides that it's a great prank.

                              The difference between a practical joke in good taste and bad taste is that the good taste jokes are completely reversible, while the bad ones arent. Unless you somehow make it blatantly obvious that he isnt actually a sexual predator there may be some irreparable damage done here. Whether or not there is, or whether or not he breaks off the freindship because of it is a different question, but there is definitely room here to possibly cross that line, be careful if you value the friendship.

                              But otherwise, great idea

                                  While it would be funny. I dont think it's a good idea. People hate child molestors, so if his face gets associated with that, then he's got a problem.

                                  Beastiality is pretty funny though, just make sure people know its a joke...
