    Rant: Why don't people read directions??

    Clearly and more than once on my link submission form and on the listing requirements, it states that "all free sites must have a minimum of 30 images". It's also made clear that if the submission description does not include the number of images, I won't even look at it. I send this once again in an email to them after they've submitted.

    BUT probably 60% of the submissions I receive either show less than 30 images (usually 20) or they don't list the image count in the description.

    I'm sure there are some decent sites in there, but if they can't read the information given them, they like can't read that I don't allow pop ups, etc.

    Heck.. I bet they don't even remember to brush their teeth!

    Arrggghhh.

      Most submissions are from automated tools.

          Can't jou just let your script check for this kind of problems? and weed out the bad submissions?

          now that your here i wouyld like to ask a question.. why don't you allow galleries with the word young on it (if the gallery has a "models are 18+" message on it)?

              Just have a programmer write you a quick script to sort through incoming descriptions. If it includes a number, let it pass to the review stage. If it doesn't, chuck it.

                  It's true, they don't read the rules at all. Most people submitting freesites make a site that will sort of fit everyone's rules, and then submit that site to 80 link lists... 20 images is generally accepted on most lists, which is why you're getting them as well. Most of these people probably have no clue that your rules are different.

                      You're right. PK is one of the very few that require a minimum of 30. I don't think I've ever submitted to her because of that. My sites fit basic requirements to get into as many sites as possible. I can't appease everyone.

                              or just get a script that counts the number of images linked to on the site, and auto-reject the ones with less than 30

                                  If they have no clue, it means they also don't bother to read the email sent to them after they've submitted. It gives them the same info.
