I have no problem at all with nudity, but the context was all wrong. There is a time and place for everything, and an all-ages rated program is not an appropriate forum for this.

Again, it's about context. That was an inappropriate action for that moment. People are expecting a little song and dance, not humping and a bare tit.

When I grew up CBS wouldn't let Lucille Ball from I Love Lucy have a bedroom set with one bed. Her and Ricki had to have separate beds so no one would think married couples have sex.

When Lucy got pregnant in real life there was a huge public debate over whether the show should be cancelled because CBS said no one had ever shown a pregnant woman on a TV show before.

On the Ed Sullivan show, the camermen were instructed to only show Elvis from the waist up when he first appeared on TV. They didn't want America to see him gyrating his hips.

Ok, I have a 9 year old daughter. Yes, she knows Janet Jackson, no she really isn't into her music. She was watching the halftime show, and was surprised when she saw that. She thought it was funny, and trashy.

As a mother with a young daughter, I do worry about what she is exposed to, but can't protect her from everything all the time. IMHO, a tit is really no big deal to SEE, but I do agree that it gives the wrong impression to our kids. In our society, right or wrong, it will get labelled "inappropriate". BUT, as much as my child likes Britney Spears, and her music, she also thinks Britney is trashy. There is a difference between my child liking her music and wanting to immulate her.
