anyway, you should go by which you like, not what others say here, but i guess you already know what you do and don't like, right?
as a pro logo designer, with over 150 logos created, i'll give you a hint: choose a logo that looks good on any background, which can be used in monochrome version, too and it'll look good, there... and which will be distinctive when scaled up to billboard or down to button -- you never know what you'll need it for, so take a pro thing. i noticed few entries can't go with that.. but there are rare few that are quite good.
