You used to boat ... obviously marina's , sailing, yatch clubs - can be a place. i'm sure you've tried that. auctions can be a fun place to meet people. art galleries. but i don't know if that is up your alley.
well - i'm no help - but i'm not a "dater" so i don't know these things. I usually meet a lot of people at sporting events. just my 2 cents from the peanut gallery.

I'm not one to flaunt the money. It's usually the last thing I discuss when meeting people. Of course I have a nice house, but I don't do the fancy cars, etc. By surburban it sounds like you mean 'down to earth'. I don't come across to most as some rich-bitch, etc. It's more what I like to do that gives things away. I love my diamond club seats at the Mariners games, club seats at the Seahawks, nice restaurants, etc. Guys that I've dated over the last 6 years just can't keep up with it. I end up footing the bill for stuff if I want to bring 'him' along. Otherwise I go alone or my boys tag along.
