When it all boils down, actual clicks on one's sig is what really counts. Do people click your sig? I know by my server logs that mine gets clicked quite often...... so post intelligently and you'll do fine. Post like an idiot and only idiots will click your sig.

I click on sigs because it is what I am looking to promote or buy. It has nothing to do with who has it in their signature or the post count they have. The easier it is to find what I am looking for the more likely I am to signup. The sig whores that post 100+ times a day are easier to find so they are more likely to get signups if they have what I am actually looking for.SIG TOO BIG! Branding shmanding. The sig rental only lasts for 1 month. A company can get all the "branding" they want up the yingyang, but if they don't make any sales from the $5k they spent on your sig then they are out $5k, period. It's a lot different on a message board. Certain posters tend to build up a certain persona, a certain reputation. Are you really in the habit of clicking sigs of people who are obvious fucking tools? I certainly don't. I avoid them, I don't even notice what they are promoting because they are tools. When someone reputable posts, someone with an ounce of witt and intelligence, I tend to notice more what they are promoting, and if that company or product appeals to me I will click.Originally posted by irishfury

Corporate identity covers the "in-house" aspects of a company, such as the company name, logo, tagline, and it's visual appearance. And I can prove that fact more clearly even, I use the same button in my sig (orange one) that I have in sig swap. My views to click ratio is better when I post it then it is in sig swap. Substantially better.Comment

I guess I'm a whore then but seeing as how Lens owns the board and the program in my sig I'm not so sure he would just buy every random idiot who posts a billion times.
With that being said I noticed quite a few of the people who had sold their sigs for January and decided to go on a big posting streak all trying to raise their prices for Feb and some even got it. I however kept my price the same and only offered it to the one person. I don't do it because I have to have the money and because I want to whore 2000 posts in a month to try and raise the price another couple hundred.
If Lens wants my sig again next month I'm sure my price will remain the same, I'm not trying to take a bunch of money, just a little for my sig and spot and hopefully most of what I post is relevant and makes sense. I'm loyal more than I am greedy.Comment
