Personally I'm confused as to why you signed it up with ThumbBooster, it doesn't seem to trade anything.
As far as site design goes, I'd say it's middle of the road. Submit it to the SEs and move on to your next idea. It's not big enough to waste your time worring about. Build forget, build forget, build forget. Noone gets rich on 1 site anymore.

I think you need to honestly look at other paysites and see what you need to change. Entice people to join...more empty space than anything on your site.
Then you had a comment stating about your easy to navigate members area. Well, if people are leaving (sounds like they aren't staying as long as you want if you asked that question), you need to change it. Don't go by what you think it easy..go by what your members want...that is, when you tour converts more members.
Simple can be good. Drop downs like you have in your tour can be good for some sites, but not a tour...those work better for main stream, commercial sites.
