How long do you let people talk smack about you?

Say if you knew someone was going around and bashing you non stop. Telling other business not to do business with you, this sort of thing.

This is all hypothetical of course, i mean who would go to such lengths? would they not have to be a little deranged?

Perhaps they should just worry about themselves and stay out of other peoples business.

I normall y could careless what people have to say, but i am more then a little fedup. Get over it, move on if you are so happy with everything then FUCK OFF and leave me alone.

I look at it this way. There is no such thing as bad publicity. Mike from digitalunderground.com posted some harsh shit about me. HAHAHA o well. I got like 15 signups from him posting mean shit about me on his site. Yeah goos way to hurt business Mike lol

did i deserve it? no I didnt. He got mad at me because I messaged him to ask a question. He said I only message him when I want something. WHich isnt true. I hardly use messengers as it is, but thats the whole reason. Because I asked him a question about my website lol

hmm..i may somewhat deserve a little snubbing.

however the situation is highly complex....i did something i do regret..and apologized for.....they just cant let it rest.

if you knew the whole story, you would probably say...well i feel for you , but you should not have done what you did, however they should be able to get on with their lives also.

and i agree what happened was not my finest hour, but when it comes to this situation it is not always something that is easy.

so....is there a time limit you can put on this sort of thing?

like after a couple days......i would think most people would get on with their lives.

this particular event happened months ago.

im considering options..and have had several exclelent suggestions from people, howevr it is just not my style...id like an apology at this point and a promise to stop the BS.

and i will gladly move on.

however if it persists..there is only so much a man can be expected to take..and i only have 2 cheeks to turn

Success is the best revenge. It takes alot of guts to walk away from a fight. Trust me on this one. I'm a 245 pound powerlifter, don't think I don't know how much damage I can do to someone. But, walking away gives me the oportunity to put that energy to something constructive and usefull. If the guilty party mulls on thier resentment long enough, it will hurt them WAY MORE than it would ever hurt me. They only own you if you let them, oposite action speaks vollumes over talk - get busy and own them back.

i am a very pleasant fellow for the most part....but everyone has their breaking point.....i just hope it doesnt have to come to that

Don't hold your breath for an apology. Humility is rare especially when people act like gossipy little junior high spoiled brat girls on GFY. But, you are right about one thing... tease the nicest dog long enough and don't be surprised when he rips your ever loving fucking head clean off.

I try to treat him like a sick (mentally ill) friend: I just feel sorry for him & wish him to have everything that I want. It takes alot of balls to do that, but it sure beats him renting space in your head for free when you could be charging people good money for leasing your expertise.
