I'm thinking about getting my Max a friend... He's a beagle... Would they make a good match? Any complaints about bullies? Anything I should look out for when picking out a breeder? Any advice?

We had one when I was a kid and it got along with other dogs. The only health issue we had was keeping it cool in the summer. They cant take the heat well at all. The only cleaning problem was keeping its butt clean. LOL
They are a great gaurd dog but youll have to wake him up first

i have one, shes 9 years old. great dogs, very loyal and friendly.
my dog was diagnosed with lymphoma carcinoma (sp?), which is cancer. she was on chemof or awhile and is doing real good now. im going to the top vet on the east coast for this, she'll eventually pass on but i did everything i could to make it comfortable.
advcie wise, stay away from male's that are all white, its been said they may be inbred.self made mothafucka.

Have you ever looked into french bulldogs ( AKA Frog Dogs ), really cute, they are small (about a foot tall weigh 26-30 lbs) and dont hardly make any noise except snoring and snorkels.
