Think about it really and remember the state the country was in after the 9/11 attacks everyone was afraid of what might happen, the economy was collapsing. If terrorists had real capability and intelligence they would have made their second phase a shift to small quick attacks at random throughout the country that don't require major planning. Random shootings and very small bombings at schools, malls, hospitals and what not would have sent the country into all out panic and collaspsed the economy totally.
Imagine how felt after 9/11, now what if you saw random shootings and bombings at work, schools, hospitals and malls. People would have quit sending their kids to school, forcing them and their children to stay home, the government would have had to delcare martial law and put the military out at schools, hospitals, malls and everywhere in the street, spreading themselves thin and everyone in total panic. The the terrorists could have pulled off another major attack.
I think frankyl they were surprised they pulled the 9/11 attack off at the scale they did and they had nothing to follow through with in the US at least. If they did what I suggested they could have collapsed our economy and fucked this whole country worse than you can even imagine.Comment

yes but your stats don't show wounded... when a bus bomb goes off it may not kill everyone but many lose arms and legs and so on... so I'm sure if you had the stats of the total amount of people either killed or wounded they would probably even out... I have always disagreed with the contention that 9/11 had any impact on our economy. It made for a good scrape goat for a while, but 2 years later and we're not much better off.Think about it really and remember the state the country was in after the 9/11 attacks everyone was afraid of what might happen, the economy was collapsing.
I saw the bus bombing video the other day, not sure if this is the same one or not, one video was enough. Very sad. Wasted lives, who probably maybe even supported some compromise for peace.
