how do the artists get paid for streaming their tracks?

im curious, and have not checked it out.

but it seems there would be some licensing info regarding this, and I am curious on how this is done.

There are lots of rules and regulations, and its not free (or even cheap) to run. We let our lawyer and accountant figure out all the laws and tell us who to pay and how often.

I listened for about 15 minutes and heard some techno shit and who knows what else I had to tune out quickly for real.

We need a schedule of when you can hear a 2 hour block of something specific you know. And wheres the love for the down south rap, or any rap that isn't jay z or eminem for that matter?

well radio stations pay per song too.

this is how bands like Zepplin, still make millions in addition to the other merch.

I am curious though, because it would seem this would be very expensive to do considering its for a webmaster station.

Especially when so many online stations have gone out of buz because theres no profit, and its costly.
