    DormGirls.com Auction ... No Reserve - Brandable Quality Domain With Traffic!

    DormGirls.com on auction ... minimum opening bid $12500 USD...

    BUT as an incentive to start the bidding now, the minimum opening bid today Dec-22-2005 only is just $10K USD ...

    Approx 1,000 uniques per month (avg ~35 per day) - based on an independent test recently. OVT w/ ext 48.

    NO reserve! It will be sold to the highest qualified bidder.

    Minimum bid increment is $250 for bids up to and including $17000; bid increment increases to $500 if bidding goes over $17000.

    Auction ends Thursday Dec-29-2005 at 10 PM EST (7 PM PST) DNForum board time* unless there are bids in the final moments ... bids received in the last 5 minutes of the auction (9:55 PM EST DNForum board time* and afterwards) will automatically extend the auction each time by an additional 5 minutes from the time of last bid.

          I've received numerous high 4-figure, and even some low 5-figure, offers for the domain in the past year.

          Here's something that may be an eye-opener for you ...

          Prices are really increasing and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future - a few years ago, many folks thought my prices were way crazy (and to be honest, some were/are), but these days, many of the ask prices aren't that crazy given the current domain name market ...

          This is the time to buy quality before the prices go up even more... some examples of how my domains have gone up in price...

          adultservers.com ... sold it for low 3-figures from what I recall years ago ... these days that domain is easily worth low to mid 4-figures.

          cannabis.com domain / website package ... was seriously considering accepting only a few hundred thousand about 2 years ago ... these days, BIN is $1250K ... and likely will go up again soon, since I've had numerous 6-figure offers, including one of $500K for the domain name package. More importantly, I see domains with minimal traffic, little to no revenues, minimal branding, etc selling for 4-figures / low 5-figures ... cannabis.com in contrast gets ~8,000 unique visitors daily, with ~4,500 to the homepage alone via SE, hardlinks, and pure type-in, and grosses approx $100K, with much of that being net! Still taking offers for cannabis.com package ... $700K min offer considered with $1250 BIN

          DormGirls.com itself is likely the best example, since that's the name we're discussing here...

          I almost let dormgirls.com go for $3K about 2 years ago ... these days I have numerous offers multiples of above that. In another year or two, low 5-figures for dormgirls.com may seem like a bargain based on how demand / prices for domains continues to grow; real estate is stagnating, domain names are among the fastest growth investments today!

              The "K" dropped off somehow ... lest anyone think they can buy it for only $1250 LOL! BIN for that package should read $1250K ... to be clear, $700,000 USD min offer considered with BIN of $1,250,000 USD for cannabis.com domain / website package.

              Getting back to dormgirls.com - minimum bid is reduced to just $10K today Dec-22-2005 only ... sometimes it pays to bid early!

                              I am just curious, every thread you start you keep saying "I have gotten so many offers on this domain" Well why didn't you take these "offers". You always try to make your domains seem like people are fighting each other for them...

                              Good luck with the sale, but I agree with others, way too expensive. You can build a 48 OVT with extension site in 6 months with little investment...
