Why do dogs eat cat turds out of the litterbox?
My dog does this almost EVERY day. No matter where I move the litterbox too... He'll always munch away on the turds. WHY!? Sometimes he wont eat certain vegetables.... but he will eat cat feces covered in litter. WHATS UP WITH THAT YO!?

My dog used to eat his own shit in the winter. What he'd do is let his shit freeze, then it'd play around with it, flipping it around for a while, then he'd sit down and chomp on it, it was very disturbing to watch, but he's grown outta that now, so maybe it was just a young dog thing.Comment

We had a german shepard that was a great dog till we had our first kid. The day we brought the baby home the dog was a nightmare from then on. He would knock over the diaper pale and scatter poopy diapers all over our home. Most of which were chewed up and partially missing. We couldnt keep him outside when a way because we had this neighbor kid who would grab the dog by the ears and hit it till the dog bit back. Then the parents of the jack ass would call the cops.

Most dogs crave cat food (my dog will climb or jump to most any place I can feed the cat). It's too high in some nutrients that is good for cats and bad for dogs though. Stands to reason they are attracted to the undigested cat food... or catfood scented poop
