    Final Fantasy X2



    so besides moving out, im still playing this. now the story is developing, it doesnt keep mi on mi toes like the 1st FFX did, but its still a great game. im about 25% into the game with 13 hrs logged... the storyline is kinda girly, with the constant changing of outfits (dressphears), and characters having crushes and past relationships with some of the males in the game....


    anyone else playing this, or any other great RPG's?

      I was actually going to pick this one up. But I just haven't done so yet. The last one I actually felt like I was watching a movie more than I was playing a game though. Either way it was a great game.

      I personally have been more into the RPGs with a little more action. D&D Heroes, Dark Alliance 1 and going to try 2 ( my buddy says it is great ), Champions of Norrath comes out next month, Should keep me entertained for a little while.

      I am also thinking about trying this out.... www.gamefly.com I keep seeing ads for it on Fuse at night when I actually want to see some videos. Seems interesting.

          The service looks pretty good, just like Netflix. I've been thinking about checking it out as well but I just haven't had much time for video games lately. Haven't really been into a game since before Christmas.

                  I played it through in about 20 hours, I was really disappointed in it, I started over again with the start over option and that was pretty cool that I got to start with all of my items but still, the game was seriously lacking. Either the beasties are way too easy or they're waaaaaaaaaay too hard. I loved FFX it was amazing. FFX-2 was depressing.

                                      FFX was the game that got me really interested in consoles. I bought a PS2 when I bought the game. The second time through I had about 130 hours, all characaters had completed the sphere grid and I finished all the side quests except the fucking chocobo race - that thing pissed me off sooo much.

                                      FFX-2 is not nearly as engaging as X, and the rehashing of the same areas is pretty boring. The story line is nowhere near as interesting, and IMHO, the dress spheres suck.

                                      But, I only have about 13 hours into it so far. Maybe it'll get better.

                                      With all that said, it's still one of the best games out there. FF rules. FFX owns. FFX-2 is just better than average.
