    So I had frog legs for the first time tonight.

    I had always been told, and heard that they taste like chicken. Even when the waitress put them on the table in front of me, she said "they are like chicken strips."

    Well, I don't know where she gets her chicken strips, but they sure did not taste like any chicken (strips) I ever ate.

    I guess if I were to descibe the taste, I think I would have to say they tasted like what I thought a frog would taste like.

    I may have even had a flashback to when I was a kid and actually tasted a raw frog. Kinda nasty IMHO.

    Gimme alligator any day of the week.

          sorry, i just cannot justify myself to eat anything that doesnt need to be eaten.

          i know here, down south, people eat all kinds of crazy shit. frog legs, cow tounges, crawfish brains, pigs feets, pigs tails. fuck all that shit, gimme a nice salad or a steak.

                              We go catch the little bastards and cook'em up fairly regular. nothing impressive. Alligator Sauce Picante on the other hand is worth stepping over your own mother for.

                                      Yeah I don't knowwww...... They were selling ostrich meat here a while back.... haven't seen it lately in my grocery store, I might give it a try though. I hear it's quite good....

                                      I would try frogs legs I'm sure. Just haven't had occassion to yet.

                                          Frog legs do not taste like chicken. I can't describe them because the one time I had them all I could think of was "Man I'm eating a fucking FROG" but it ain't chicken. Gator tail now that's good eatin. When you think of it eating a pig is rather disgusting. Oh and if you go to the south do NOT order Moutain Oysters or Souse
