    not understanding tommys-bookmarks

    I just recently expanded my tgp list to include tommys-bookmarks.com. I reviewed their site and most of the galleries are the standard 16 pics, but their rules say 20 pics.

    I've been submitting to them for about 4 months now with my 16 pics but with no luck. Is anybody aware of how they operate?

      if the rules say 20 pix, submit 20 pix galleries.
      some of those 16 pic galleries may be tommys own or sponsor hosted galleries. remember, he has the traffic ;)

                      Does Tommy only list galleries now or does he still list free sites? I haven't submitted in quite some time...

                                      Tommy has great traffic and he generally lists all of my galleries with 15 images... but I've also submitted there for years and he knows I'm not a complete idiot. Follow his rules and listings should come pretty easilly. If your gallery isn't up to snuff, it won't make the page.

                                          He also lists galleries if they're quality but he doesn't advertise that on his submit page because he doesn't want another 2000 submits a day.

                                                      He used to list my galleries (with 16 pics) up to the day when he changed his submit form. Now he askes for warning pages etc - thus ccepting only free sites.

                                                              I would always use 20 pics to be sure! Follow the rules and don?t look around what got listed that isn?t by the rules. He lists free sites and galleries, if you don?t get listed you should change from 16 to 20 pictures and use clean galleries with quality content.

                                                                                      I'd love to say you keep believing that and go submit elsewhere (less competition!) but the angel on my other shoulder is glaring at me.
                                                                                      You *can* submit galleries to Tommy, and he'll accept them. He takes a lot of flack for it from other LL owners, too.
                                                                                      Just make sure they're quality, clean, and don't break the rules. Having been a submitter for a while helps too, because he'll know you're not going to switch shit around and cheat him.
