    Regardless, when they freeze Webpower.Incs accounts for writing bad checks intentionally to all of this it will affect us all. And when ifriends goes down, all the money we webmasters make from it will go down as well. I know personally this will have a huge impact on my life, or at least the flow of money until I get it resolved...

    I might add, I don't know if any of you are hosts on ifreidns but they have a private message board for hosts only and I am reading it and you would be surprised what is being said and just how many people's lives are being turned upside down.

    I know women whom have children and make their total living on ifriends from home, now what can they do, here's a quote from one host on the p[rivate board...

    - "I'm out 3 weeks of checks and my banking accounts are frozen.....can ifriends tell me how i should go about feeding my kid for the next week or 2 or however long this goes on." -

    I am waiting for 2 Click Cash webmaster check to be "reissued" due to "mailing errors", my address has never changed in the 3 or so years I have promoted clickcash and they claim my adress is now correct, as a webmaster I have lost 2 checks this year, and as a chathost neither my girlfriend or I have been paid on 4 check this week. So that makes 6 checks in limbo, ...

        Just got off the phone with bank again... now not only have the cam chathost checks bounced, but now my clickcash webmaster check has bounced too. So now webmasters are being fucked as well...

        In addition to my chathosts checks bouncing in excess of $3000 my click cash checks are bouncing as well, indeed this sucks fucking ass.

            Last week Two CCBILL Checks were returned and stamped PAYMENT STOPPED! Now Im afraid to put in my CCbill Checks from this week.

            Anyone else have a problem with CCBILL checks? I called them and they said call back monday and talk to account, I asked tech if they knew anything about this, she said, there was a problem, it should be fixed within the next few pay periods. But I didnt know anything about this. Shouldn't they have sent out an email or something to notify us. Thats a $7.50 charge for a returned check.

            anyone else???

                What's the difference between PAYMENT STOPPED and INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. I think it's significant.

                I cash checks from CCBill every week (it seems). Never a problem. I'll let you know if that changes.

                    i dont understand why I-friends made a big deal about getting me my check fed x the other day just to have it bounce? i cashed two checks thursday or friday so does that mean my bank is going to take the money out of my checking to cover them?

                            well my check from Jan 11th cleared without a problem (so far) and i just deposited one on Friday, so let's see

                            also tried calling Stacy and her extension is no longer valid - not a good sign

                            maybe Persian Kitty can shed some light on this situation, she's been using them the longest and probably has more contacts

                                One thing's for sure; if you have a problem with CCBill, you can almost always get your account representative. I know there have been a number of times when I had problems and Sean was always on the other end of the phone.

                                Night and day, I'd say, from ClickCash support.

                                            It doesn't even clear 2 bucks.

                                            This fuckin sucks. I have checks from dec that I haven't cashed yet.

                                                        A few weeks ago we had an issue with a few partner checks being mailed out incorrectly...we emailed the affected partners and placed "stop payments" on the checks...if you didnt get an email, please email with the details and i will see why...get hold of me and we will compensate you for the bank fees

                                                        Rocky, Staceys extension should not be any different than before...you have any problems/questions and can't get hold of her, call ext. 160..

                                                                Maybe PersianKitty will post here since she's been using them the longest. 6 years in February, weekly checks like clockwork with never and problem.

                                                                I was contacted by several people today regarding this issue. I have been assured via email (with less than a 3 hour turn around on a Saturday) by the owner of Webpower that this is an isolated problem that was created by the bank in question.

                                                                Also, trying to verify funds this weekend will do you no good. Many large businesses make it a practice of using what's called a "Sweep account" funds are moved nightly from an interest bearing account to the checking account to cover the previous days checks. So essentially there is never a true balance in the checking account.

                                                                Also, many large businesses transfer funds from checking accounts to interesting bearing accounts over weekends (and this is a 3 day weekend here in the US) in order to gain the interest on money that would normally be sitting there.

                                                                In regards to those who are talking about how this effects their personal life, it may be callous to say but I never spend deposited money until I've given it a good 10 days to make sure it's really there.

                                                                See....in my kittenhood I got burned by a sponsor. I'd already put the money into something else and had to scramble for a couple of weeks and give some explanations because of it. I've learned to be patient and wait the 10 banking days to be safe. It only creates a crunch for the first couple of weeks you're doing it and then the flow seems like it normal does for you.

                                                                Regarding viewing stats, I've run into a bit of problems, but I find if I use their "log in/log out" function to log out and then back in, I can view stats fine.

                                                                                i think its interesting that PK can get in touch with the owner of webpower, but the 1000's of other webmasters who dont do her volume cant even email a normal tech support person. this is no way to run a company, and regardless of who's fault all this bank shit is, i think webpower needs to wake up and start treating its webmasters with a bit more respect.

I send those fuckers at least 30 join ups a week, and not to mention all the girls I have recruited for them. I send them well in excess of 100k hits a week ((((yeah my ratio is terrible I know, I have watched my join up ratio go down as my hits increase, shaving? My ratio was 1:200 until 2 months ago, now its 1:19k LOL))) and have made enough to not work a day job in 3 years, so does that make me less important or worthy of an explanation. Shit man I recruited 2 of the top 10 hosts on that site. Not Joking.

I called and punched in 125k yesterday, and it said "funds available" you can do this for ANY BANK account or any check. So clickcash was able to cash 125k yesterday. But none of the 4 checks I have will clear today...smallest 65 bucks, highest 900+

                                                                                                I don't think you read my entire post.. specifically the part about businesses using sweep accounts and also moving large balances out of non-interest bearing accounts over weekends in order to make the interest on them from Friday night until Monday morning.

                                                                                                I find it hard that anyone would believe that a company with at least $125K in the bank on a Friday and almost $0 on a Saturday would be doing anything other than using their money in a wise way over a long holiday weekend.

                                                                                                I've been in the adult internet business for over 6 years. Every single long term player will tell you they aren't here today by screwing others. All of us have faced the scrutiny of our piers, the media, and even the US Government.. including the IRS.

                                                                                                It's very easy to jump to conclusions when information is forthcoming. Everyone does it. I'm positive that as the week begins everything will be explained and corrected. I just hope then maybe the same people posting now will have the dignity to post then.

                                                                                                        But PK, one thing remains, we were assured this would not happen and that all checks were good. Even encouraged by this owner guy and Louann to fucking REDEPOSIT the checks after they already went through the account once. So we are being charged twice man. It's in the ifriends forums. http://ifriends.net/forums.html but you have to be a chathost.

                                                                                                        This owner guy claimed if anyone could prove a check had been NSF that they would be paid 1k on top of the amount of the check. Now today, days later my checks are NSF and Im supposed to be cool til Monday when my bank is negative 500. And because I wrote checks against this money I should have waited 10 days, well CC has never given me reason to doubt their money. Upon reASSURANCE from LOUANN...Gee sorry I don't make as much as the rest and can just write checks for amounts and not care, I live check to check and work hard at what I do and demand to be treated with at least the decency to be fucking paid.

                                                                                                                        Early this past week, a communcations protocol problem between Bank of America and BankAtlantic prevented the clearance of several checks for both the iFriends and the Clickcash program.

                                                                                                                        The number of checks is 262, which represents a small portion of one day's business (the average number of checks cashed daily, for both iFriends chathosts and clickcash webmasters, numbers in the thousands). All other checks that day cleared. All checks *since* that day have cleared.

                                                                                                                        If you were affected by the incident, your bank will likely automatically redeposit the check. However, iFriends *does* confirm that in a small number of cases, the checks were returned with the erroneous designation NSF. As these checks are brought to our attention, we are issuing replacement checks.

                                                                                                                        We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause for iFriends chathosts, who have been the beneficiaries of regular weekly payments *without even a single incident* going back four years. (That's more than a 200 consecutive weeks of consistent and prompt payments ... a sterling reputation for integrity and reliability DESTROYED by a bank's reckless error, for which we are VERY, VERY pissed off).

                                                                                                                        I want to personally assure each and every one of you that iFriends is financially sound, and the site is healthier than ever. I have worked for this company even before iFriends existed, and have grown with it through the years, and I can tell you that when I look around these days, all I see around me is a 100% healthy enterprise.

                                                                                                                                    There are more than just those two accounts also. In reviewing copies of my checks here, I know of at least two more.

                                                                                                                                    I didn't post the fact that I'd heard from someone with a quick turnaround as a slam to anyone or to make anyone feel small. I'd received email from several webmasters asking if I could help since I've been with Webpower for so long. I emailed the main contact that I've had since 1996 and received a prompt and thorough reply that made sense to me. I thought by relaying things here would help.. not make others feel less important. When you've been dealing with people for 6 years on the internet you build some contacts that can help in crucial times.

                                                                                                                                            Often in times like this message boards tend to seem a bit tense, due to quick response and mixed emotions. Believe me in no way did I take offense to your reply.

                                                                                                                                            As for the "owner guy" i dont know who it is either. The message board has been taken down or is not working either way so I cant track all the info on who said what and so on...some post was made by someone claiming to be an owner or something.

                                                                                                                                            This has been going on for about a week or so I think... so people have been posting about it all week and everyone was told it was only rumors to go ahead and cash the checks, well it wasnt true.

                                                                                                                                            On a good note, I am just glad I had all my cam girls move their sites off of ifriends and am using CC Bill now people can actually join. can you believe that, I had people emailing me telling me they were trying to join my paysites but ifriends credit card processing wasnt working for months. Not to mention the people who email me telling me about ifriends charging their cards for wrong amounts, and then saying they can only pay them in "time" meaning, ooops we accidentally charged your card 100 bucks, but hey have 200 minutes of video on us... eh okay done. Anyway. Goodnight all, have a good weekend and I hope it all gets better.

Someone apparently hacked one of my ClickCash accounts. My password doesn't work, and when I do password retrieval, the email is sent to some address I've never heard of. This account is only owed $7k for the week. But, I haven't yet been able to get a response from anyone. I have tried every possible email address I can think of at both ClickCash and iFriends. This same thing happened to a friend of mine earlier this week, and he hasn't yet been able to get a reply either. Assuming the check is good, I really hope it doesn't get sent to someone who stole my account.

                                                                                                                                                                                If anyone knows a contact person I can reach who would actually respond, I would appreciate it. Do you all think it would be useful to go to Palm Beach and talk to them @ their office on Monday or Tuesday (Monday is a holiday here). If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it, and I'll even give you a cut of the $. My ICQ is 126813090.

Sometimes i get responses in minutes. Depends on who you send the email to.

                                                                                                                                                                                        All I can say, is that if you are so unhappy, leave the program. More signups to those of us that do like it. Lots of the big companies goof up every now and then and if missing one check is gonna make you go hungry, you should be working on an alternate form of income. Ever heard the one about not putting all your eggs in one basket?

None of my checks bounced, sure if it did it would sting a little but I'd be ok till they corrected it. And they WILL correct it just hang in there. I guess you've never bounced a check before? Just like PK I've been around for years and seen alot of sponsors come and go but clickcash has always been there. Give them a break they will fix the problem. It could be worse, we all know that there are alot of sponsors out there that wont pay you at all.
