Seems like the average age for people born around then is not going to be as high as the people born <1950. It is of course a little early to make that assasment as we're not that old yet, but I know a lot of people born before 1975 who are already dead. Scary.

I always thought it would be really funny to launch a death site, where you would register all your details, age, weight, any medical conditions, history of XX in your family etc..
Then the site would calculate your estiated time of death. On the home page you could list the name's of people about to cough it,and there's so many ideas and features I can think of..

are you basing this on anything you've read or just your personal experiences? i've never seen or heard anything relating to that age range having unusually high mortality rate. But from my personal experiences I've been wondering if the death rate from certain diseases among people between 20-40 has been rising.
In my life there seems to be a frightening amount of cancer in younger people - my parents generation didn't seem to have this.
Post World World II kids have basically been living an experiment. Lots of chemicals in every product, plastics give off gases, foods filled with chemicals, power plants all over the place near residential areas, hundreds and hundreds of new medications with long term consequences - medicine has improved so life expectancy is longer but I have a hunch there are more young people getting fatal diseases from the effects of living in this modern world. No kid before the 1960's and 70's grew up on fast food or store bought chemical laden and altered food. They also didn't wear clothing made of chemicals, spend half their life playing with plastic and chewing on it or living half a block from an electric power station or nuclear power plant.
