only downside is 6100 has a small antena. in toronto it doesn't make a difference tho.

doesn't have the same signal strength. the phone is under 3 ounces, almost like a feather.
in a major city with good towers it would be fine. in elevators and in the middle of big buildings you can lose reception. everywhere else its 100% perfect.

I don't have to put a lock, and I don't have a flip phone.

i have nokia 7250 which is number three, it's pretty good, the camera works well, it has gprs, radio, infrared and small.
since i am happy with my cellphone i suggest that's what you get.
as for the cellphone number 1 it has two versions available in the market. one has a camera while another one does not have any. if you decide to go for this choose the one with the camera, it also has radio, gprs capability, plus zoom! one set back though is a really bad menu bar!

Emergency numbers work even without unlocking the keypad.
I have 8910i, it has a cover for the keys, but not a flip phone. Flip phones look like early 90's toys.

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
Hi- New to GFY - and in a good position to help out here I think. The phones you're checking out are all nice handsets with multimedia messaging etc but lack a mobile operating system like Symbian - you wanna make sure your handset has this as you'll be frustrated with the choices of phone above in a few months time when you can't see the latest content (music, games, vid, java) without Symbian - especially adult content which is coming to Canada. Agree that the 6600 is a big bloody phone - I've got one - but if you want the features it's gonna be that way for some time, and as memory and power increase they're gonna get bigger. Thing is, too small and you have trouble using the keypad...the 6600 is a little dated now (here in Europe at least) so I'd be tempted to wait for a 7610. The only Symbian handsets in Canada are NGage (avoid) and the 3650 (definitely avoid).
