I love this fucking game. It sucks when it occasionally crashes, or you get in a bad server, but when you have a good ping and are on a good server it is great fun. I played one CTF game last night that lasted like 3 hours. Anyway, I am thinking of downloading some Mods to it, like forgottenhope or desert combat - what would you suggest?

I never liked the game at all.. the PVP was just way to slow for me.. Movement was too slow.. it was all just too slow..

i too am a CS OG but I must admit, BF42's desert combat is a blast. Nothing like flying F22's and Apache's! Not to mention, hoppin in a jeep and 4 wheelin around iraq's hills is a blast!Comment

IM sure most of you guys are awae there is a bf1942 1.6 patch out now and it includes punk buster anti-cheat system..
We have updated the server at YKZ for 1.6 as come hang with us on wed nights for a match of Desert Combat
