DVD to Web Ready Content - Looking to Outsource / Hire

We currently process DVDs into various types of web ready content in house (various movie lengths, types such as wmvs, mpgs and jpgs, etc.).

We are looking to expand our scale of this processing, and are seeking professionals who can deliver to our specifications on time (we can provide exact specifications and more detail to interested companies).

The volume of the work is considerable and contracts will run throughout 2004. We don't mean to sound harsh, but we are not looking to do a lot of teaching. We are looking for competent people that already have the know how and hardware to complete this type of work.

If this sound like what you do, please reply to this post with your contact info and we will email you privately to discuss further.

    Thanks!

I think you need to post where you're based since I don't think you'd like to ship the DVD to Europe and then back again...

Shipping DVDs to Europe is not a problem for us...if we can find the right company.

We will be checking this thread again in about 12-24 hours...and getting back to people who show interest.

          Thanks!

Hmmm, I am in Canada. Toronto, to be precise. And I am a wiz at this.

But, this querry raises many questions.

Like, if you have rights to the content, why are you starting with a dvd?

I'm sure the person(s) involved have the correct licensing for the DVD's. Starting with DVD's is cost effective and a lot cheaper than having content custom shot.

I did a lot of conversions for Legend Video. JPG scans and dvd->mpg, avi,, etc...

Call Bruce Mendelson or Jack at Legend for a reference.

We encode DVD -> WMV / QuickTime / Sorenson etc in Toronto. We do all the encoding for http://vod.adameve.com. If you can commit to 100 - 200 DVD's a month then we can take on this job. Right now we encode about 500 DVD's a month. Contact me on ICQ at 176-084-041
