This movie is pure shit, not even worth the price of the rental, and damn sure not worth the time it takes to watch it.

I saw Freddy vs. Jason the other night. It was pretty good, or at least better than I expected. I've seen worse. Wrong Turn was absolutely the worst. It's too bad about cabin Fever; it looked like it had potential.

there was seriously no fucking point to that movie. they started all this stuff and never followed up on it. cabin fever sucked. freddy v jason is awesome. get the dvd. great extras. and wrong turn was freaking great. that part in the trees was fucking crazy. oh yeah and house of the dead was just about the gayest movie ever made.Comment

I bought Cabin Fever last week but haven't watched it yet. I was going to the other day, but when I tried to turn on the DVD player, the batteries in the remote were dead. I took that as a sign and got back to work.Comment

I really liked Cabin Fever, especially the winks and nods to 70's and 80's exploitation/splatter flicks, but I do have a problem with movies these days trying to hard to be clever and reference these older movies without trying to add anything original...
worst of 2003 horror-wise though had to be House Of The Dead or Darkness Falls (I hated Darkness Falls with every inch of my being, it was the only movie worse that the total shit movie League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen")
Anyone want to bankroll a movie based upon my screenplay "The Bunker" about a group of American soldiers in WWII Germany seeking refuge in a bunker that happens to be haunted by the ghosts of a family massacred there 6 months earlier? (whenI finish it that is)

Shitty? then sounds promising for me! love those crappy gore movies. Have to agree with SykkBoy, movies these days try these *winks* to the old horror movies and not even shooting for something more original than that.
Its been a while since i dont buy any good horror/gore stuff.. anything out there that anyone can recommend? Its been a while since i dont sit around and rent some good splatter films or even go back through my own collection..

If you like campy gore, try House of 1000 Corpses. It's AWESOME! I can't say enough good things about it.
And 28 Days Later is good for zombies.
