The 2pm update just came out. At this point, fort lauderdale will be hurricaine force winds for sure.....all the storm has to do is to shift about 2 degrees in it's track to give Miami a TOTAL spanking. (Please note that two weeks ago, they thought that Charley was going to hit Tampa, and on the last day it changed 120 miles south)

That's where I live dude! I'm about 100 feet up the canal just on the other side of haulover bay from the inlet.....right at beer can island. 2 years ago we had a near miss and the seas were 10 to 12 in the inlet.......it was like motocross, but in warm water......

However.....with the 2pm update.....I'm not planning on anything but hunkering down and then picking up the mess.

This thing is now actually bigger than the whole state.....twice as big as Andrew, tropical force winds 186 miles from the eye....hurricaine force 80 miles out.

This is going to be a big friggin mess.
