I'm in San Diego for over 2 years now and haven't even seen and done 1/10th of the things available. I have ocean, desert, mountains, forests... and I'm only talking about one small region here.
If you're that bored, get in your car and drive. Tour New England, so much history there. Check out the South, lots of things to do. The mid-West has tons of outdoor activities. The West has the beach and a faster paced lifestyle.
