Deadlines and all, and all you can do is work a bit.. then next thing you know you're off lookin in the fridge or checking what's on tv, or what they kids are up to.. oh.. and then you remember an errand to run, etc. Before you know it it's almost 10pm and you still haven't finished your 'work' for the day.
