          Had been there several times ... cool city but pretty expensive compared to the cities in the south.
          Especially housing prices are comparable to other big European cities.

                                  Great city, I was there for 8 months some years ago, it was expensive then and heard it's even more expensive now. But great weather, great food, great girls and all the hype

                                          I was just there in Sept. - hung out with the NoCreditCard guys (super nice group!).. great town!

                                          There's tons of hotels off La Rambla (center of the action) for 100 euro or less. My advice is not to try and "big pimp it" - the really expensive hotels aren't much nicer than the regular ones. They just don't know how to do luxury..
