      No way.
      Google still kicks major ass.

The last update wasnt bad. If your sites got dropped - then you must have been doing something wrong.

Fuck yeah...I think ppl were right about the beginning of the end of Google's search dominance.

Yahoo is going to be a monster, and MSN search is probably six-eight months away from a public beta, as Gates said it should be out in 2005.

Google blinked but so what. Yahoo is trying to revive inktomi who not only blinked but plucked their own eyes out. AV is the only one doing better pure search then they were and they are no where near google.

the only way this can be solved is to be buddy buddy with the big search engines

make love to them in ways u cant even imagine

and after all that dirty work, maybe a good listing would be ur reward.

Look under my name. Sleeping with the bots helps but you need a bit more at times

Start considering Search engine traffic like Lottery traffic.

Undoubtedly Google has shot itself in the head with these last 2 updates.

Finding a commercial site, or relevant site anymore is impossible. I even changed my homepage after 3 years... now its pointed to Teoma, which is the best engine out there IMO.

I've been looking at my stats from my sites and my hits from other engines have been raising steadily since December, and my ranking really hasn't moved much in Google.

Joe Surfer is starting to notice Google is serving them shit and turning to other engines instead!

I guess google is still alright if you want to find an enormous portal site (amazon anyone?) or you need to have information only found in a blog or news article... nothing else though.

Without knowing your sites WG I suspect the problem you have with google is your network.I remember you saying how you don't like to trade links .Perhaps Google have mapped your network and seen that your sites are all in a nest.
Unless you have a diversified, multi hosted network with domains bought at different places and with different whois it is very hard to escape google's nest detection.
It seems its also better to have 1 mega site rather than lots of micro sites.
I know you know your stuff but this is just a idea.

It's very possible that WG has each domain on it's own C-class.
