Nah I guess there are ways to increase the drive space on the existing drive, but even a drive upgrade is a hack for TiVO.

how can you increase drive space on a existing drive? rofl

buy a new hard drive, not over 120gb (i think, maybe it is 160gb)

Just read that somewhere, I am not sure if they just have some sort of size limitation on the drive or what, either way was looking for resources. Thanks for the URL. Either way you need to hack the TiVO to add an extra drive or replace the drive.

Yes I found those too, I was asking if anyone has hacked a TiVO and which resources they recommend. I know how to use google as well, but thanks.

I know that my husband upgraded our HD and changed one of the buttons to jump further, but I made him change that one back. Oh yeah, it was the back 5 seconds button he changed to forward 30 seconds. I like being able to say "What did he say" and hit the jump back button instead of jumping through commercials.

He used the TivoFAQ listed above and help with the software needed for the HD from some guy on the Tivo Forum.
