It's not a rumor, it's a fact. And it's not hidden at all. It's on the first page of the admin section.
We use MPA2, and will be upgrading to MPA3 soon. The support dept. really has become pretty solid too. Very quick replies to problems and they very good about following up to make sure everything is working properly.
