What pulls better, graphical ads or simple ones with text?

    What pulls better, graphical ads or simple ones with text?

    Putting together my webmaster ad for mens niche and has got me thinking about what converts better with webmasters.

    Obviously we are not pulled in by the banners as much as surfers are. I know personally, I like info, sell text (with tactic) and easy navigation.

    Of course graphical ads are great, but in the end its about what you a) have to offer, b) presentation, and c) honesty.

    take it or leave it folks.

    text converts, always will.

      A good graphic add is always good ... but the old usual banners are really boring ... must be a really eye catching odd sized one .

                  vitty, I was going to say the same. I think that the surfers have been tricked enough by the banners that look like scroll boxes etc, so a nice banner that catches the attention, and then the text link under it, for the person to click. Like I think that the simple Click here works very well.

                      Text links ussualy works better.

                      But graphics ads are good too, i think that you can get best results ussing customs sizes and not the defaults 468x60 banners that all the people knows and no one clicks.

                          Webmasters go for text. Think about any banner you hit. It was the text on it that pulled you. So instead i would say "give info" it does not matter how.

                              Yeah, sometimes text is cool but I have to say, I'd prefer BIG BOOBS! :>
                              So just put up some banner with a nice rack, and I gonna click it.

                                  i think banners with cars, boats, nice homes work best with banners for webmasters.

                                  the ones with $ bills arent as eye catching

                                      something eye catching is much moer rewarding than the simple dollar bill stacks...
