These guys I know just played at the Big Day Out (Music Festival) here in Melbourne. and had to drive from Sydney.
Jack Daniel's gave them a bus with a driver. It was covered with Jack Daniel's logos etc - but it had beds and couches and kitchen and stuff. It was total luxury for them.
The JD folks asked if they liked Jack Daniel's and they said they don't drink it. So they gave them a bunch of cartons for free.
I'd drink it all day if it was free.

LOL! Similar story... When I was 17 just 3 weeks after graduation I went into the navy. Some friends slipped me 3 pints of JD before I left. Keep in mind that prior to this the only alcohol I had ever consumed was a sneaked beer or 2... My dad & stepmom lived in the city I processed in so they came to visit me at the motel and we mixed 1 of them with Pepsi's from the soda machine and I had a scotch and water (my dad's favorite at the time) before they left. The only thing I can tell you about the rest of the evening is that I saw my first porno film that night at a theater across the street and woke up on the floor by the bed in the motel room (by someone banging on the doors yelling it was time to get ready for the bus), apparently having heaved all over the place (or maybe that was whoever helped me finish off the 2 other bottles, because they were sure empty!Originally posted by TheEnforcer
