Why Google Sucks For Most

Google has long been figured out (in part at least) by many. You only have to look at the top results for any porn keyword to see that. However, I don't think it is really very easy for them to dig themselves out (keep in mind this isn't a rant - my traffic from them is still steady). With each update they do, they knock more quality, legitimate sites out of their results along with spammers (for awhile at least).

But what happens than? The quality sites (with the webmasters who don?t really follow Google closely enough) simply continues along, trying to build up his site through legitimate means (i.e. getting his link on relevant sites, etc), without much real consideration for all the latest filters. Furthermore the newbie webmaster that has a great, relevant site, follows the same path, and tries legitimate/simple means to increase his sites PR and rank.

However, this is where we have the problem. Sure, a few spammers may disappear for a while, but these guys are making a fortune off of Google, and they sure as hell aren't going to give up. The big spammers practice and they work their way around the newest filters, and within no time the results are filled with redirects, and spam pages - but this time it is missing the few quality ones it had before.
